My Bio

There were three key moments that pushed me to run for this school board position. These moments made me realize that I have to do this for my son, a student at the district, my daughter who will one day attend the district, and all the other children.

1. I was always involved in the schools as a parent volunteer but I attended my first board meeting in April 2026 due to reports of racism against an 8 year old black girl. During the May 20th board meeting where I spoke regarding this issue, a board member had made tone deaf comments that these issues don't exist in our district. The following day the district hosted a community forum to discuss these concerns, after 90 minutes of testimony from parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators, the same board member made the same comments that these issues don't exist in the district.
2. Our family attended a musical performance put on my district kids across all the schools. They practiced for 6 hours a week over the course of 10 months for the delayed gratification of performing for an audience at the end of the school year. After the performance, the director made a comment that they were not sure that there would be an 11th year. I don't believe in cutting funding without fighting for every possibility of keeping the program. I am a STEM guy myself, and used to believe it was the most important for our kids education, but looking at the state of the world I realize that Arts, Ethics, Humanities, and Athletics are essential.
3. I am adamantly against AI in education.

I have many more reasons including budget oversight, and teaching young boys healthy masculinity.
